    Hi all,I tried updating to 21h1 from 20H2 using media creation tool and the only option I have is remove everything. will this option remove the drives too?Sorry for the image not being clear, I'm in a hurry.Thanks

    Windows 10 media creation tool - missing warning, disk got erased without question !!

    I have not done anything more or less than trying to copy the install files needed for win 10 setup on the external hard drive using the Windows 10 media creation tool. Suddenly my drive had only one partition of 32gb, and all other data on the 1TB drive
    was erased and unallocated(raw). The setup itself is 4GB.

    So what I did was:

    1. Download and run Windows 10 media creation tool
    2. Plug in my 1TB usb 3 disk
    3. Select that disk in Windows 10 media creation tool and press proceed
    4. Windows 10 media creation tool "Finished", drive was completely erased ..

    If you used the Media Creation tool, it is FAT32. If you downloaded the tool and copied it to an existing stick, I suggest you download the tool and double-click it on a working Windows computer. Please be advised that everything on the stick will be erased.
