    ERR_ADDRESS_UNREACHABLE HELP


    Hi, I recently bought a new PC from Ebay, updated the system etc windows 11 pro, and have tried accessing websites such as steam, bbc, etc and have all displayed ERR_ADDRESS_UNREACHABLE error, the wifi connect seems fine to me, contacted the seller and they told me to try and change the wifi adapter that they sold with the device. Are they correct or should I be trying something else Thanks.

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

    ERR_ADDRESS_UNREACHABLE is an error message that appears when visiting a specific website on Google Chrome. The message may be caused by a problem on your end or on the server's end.



    Please click on: Windows Logo --- Settings --- Network and Internet --- Proxy --- Select Off for all!

    Then clear Google Chrome cache data:

    Below are the steps to clear Google Chrome cache data.

    1. Open Google Chrome and click on three dots from the top-left corner.
    2. Click on Settings from the context menu.
    3. Choose Privacy & Security from the left pane.
    4. Click on the Clear browsing data option.
    5. Click on the drop-down icon next to the Time range option and choose All time.
    6. Checkmark Cached images and files, and Cookies and other site data options
    7. Click on Clear data.

    I strongly suggest you try using Microsoft's edge browser to see if you are still having problems with certain specific sites being inaccessible.

    Hi, Were you able to fix your computer?

    I started having this issue of the "ERR_ADDRESS_UNREACHABLE" for some websites, and I tried everything you listed + system recovery from two weeks ago.

    If you found a solution, please let me know. I have tried everything I know and found.
