Windows 10: Error 0221: "Keyboard not found"

About a week ago, and I don't know how it started, when I boot up my computer with no mouse plugged in, there's an error that says "Keyboard not found", it goes into some sequence, then fails on something, then it boots up like normal.


When I plug any mouse in even one that doesn't have a keyboard paired with it, the error goes away, except one particular mouse that I have doesn't do that. I don't understand how that works.


I have a wireless keyboard connected by Bluetooth. Is it a problem with the Bluetooth keyboard? Is there any way to stop that error from appearing?

I suggest you to check if the issue persists when you connect another keyboard to your system.

If the issue is with the keyboard, then suggest you to update the keyboard drivers by following the steps below.

• 
  Press Windows key + X and select
  Device Manager from the list.
  
• 
  Expand ‘Keyboard’ from the list.
  
• 
  Right click on the driver and select ‘update driver software’ and follow the prompts.

• Click Start and then click Settings
• Click on Ease of access
• Click Keyboard in the left pane
• Turn off Filter Keys in the right pane

Also, try pressing the Fn+ Num Lock keys to turn off the Number lock function.
