Windows 10: error 0x 80070652 while installing VSCode

Discus and support error 0x 80070652 while installing VSCode in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; i was installing VSCode, then i canceled, but it freezed so i stopped the process, but now, i try to i nstallit and it gives me this error...     Unable to install Windows 10 getting error code 80070652

    I have tried this 3 times with the same results. Installation failed. 80070652. I have successfully installed it on my Lenovo desktop. This is on my Lenovo laptop.

    After step (e.) I get "Access Denied" and enter again and again with same results. When I go beyond and back to Windows Update, the same "failed" message appears. Any other suggestions??? I really like using Windows 10 on my desktop and am looking forward
    to overcoming the obstacles in installing it on this laptop.. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

    Why can't I view and edit c_cpp_properties.json in vscode?

    I'm trying to use VS Code to compile and run c++ using these instructions. While completing this step

    I can't get the c_cpp_properties.json file to open and I get the error:
