    Hi, i’m trying to install windows xp on an old hp pc, i managed to install it in IDE mode a few months ago but now it blue screens when starting setup, i tried with both IDE and AHCI mode

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    Windows XP Install BSOD 0x0000007b

    So I was trying to install Windows XP on my pc but I can’t. Can’t change from sata or ahci mode to IDE. Drivers didn’t help tried to run without any drivers didn’t help even another hard drive that had Windows XP didn’t help. Can someone help? I’m using CD.
