    Error 0x0000020 on Windows 11 start up.


    New computer: HP Laptop: Intel I7, 16 GB ram, 512 SSD drive. When starting- it boots but has error code 4 times- error is Files\\WindowsApps\MicrosoftTeams_22042.702.1226.2352x64_8wekyb3d8bbwe\VRUNTIME140.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains errors. Error status 0x0000020.What must I do to rectify this situation? Searching for answers asked me to run sfc /scannow Does not work, chkdsk/f c: does not work and the DISM.exe will not work.Thanks

    Hello Dr.MSBPL

    I suggest you to perform Deployment Image Servicing and Management of the Computer and check if it helps.

    1. Right click Start Menu.

    2. Click on Command Prompt (Admin).

    3. Type the below command and hit on Enter Key:

    dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

    Also Follow these steps to run Windows Update troubleshooter.

    1.Press Windows key + S key and type troubleshooting.

    2.Select Troubleshooting.

    3.Select View all on the top left corner.

    4.Run Windows update troubleshooter.
