Windows 10: Error 0x00000709 Printer

Hello, I get some problems with the Printer after running the file ".bat" to cancel all queues. My laptop is usually stuck with multiple print jobs.I can't clear all those because the first print job always loads the printing status, which can't be deleted.So i'm looking for some solution that can completely delete all print jobs. And i founded this way.I'm using the file ".bat" which has 3 commands below:net stop spooler del% systemroot% System32 spool Printer * / Q / F / S net start spoolerDI saved and ran this file .bat as an administrator.In the Settings Printers menu, i see that the statu

(error 0x00000709), This occurs if there is already a default printer set and configured or Windows does not want to configure the new printer at all.

Press Win + R button combination to launch the Run utility, type in regedit and hit Enter.

Once Registry Editor opens, navigate to the following key location

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows

Under the Windows folder, double-click on the file named Device on the right-side pane.

Add the name of your printer inside the Value Data

To be able to determine the cause of the issue, are you getting any other error messages? How did you set the Workgroup permissions? Meanwhile, you might want to try the troubleshooting steps on this
