    Error 0x00000709 when connecting to the shared printer installed in Windows 10 22H2


    We tried to connect to a shared printer installed in Win10 22H2 and we get Error 0x00000709. The connecting computer is also Win10 22H2.

    I am referring to the post at Windows 11 Error message 0x00000709 when trying to install shared - Microsoft Community . For solution given by Ramesh Srinivasan below:


    I need clarification for the given steps from the link above that is this need to be configured for both PC which are PC that

    • direct connect to the printer via USB and share the printer,
    • and PC that wants to connect to that printer ?
