Windows 10: Error 0x80041014 when transferring a Windows activation from an old laptop.

I recently got a new laptop and I'm trying to activate Windows with the product key on the old laptop. I have Windows 10 Pro installed on the old one and the new one came with Windows 11 Home, so I did a fresh install of Windows 10 Pro.When I try to change the product key to the one I have active on the old laptop I get error 0x80041014 and if I try using the key I found on the registry Under "Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\SoftwareProtectionPlatform\BackupProductKeyDefault" I get error 0x803fa067.I'm attaching a picture of what I got from running "s

Error Code 0x80041014 when trying to activate (Windows 10)

Hi, I recently installed Windows 10 on my computer because I had problems activating Windows 7 (missing BIOS license) that weren't able to be fixed. After the installation of Windows 10 (via GWX.exe in my system tray). Every time I try and type in my product
key, it returns Error Code: 0x80041014 (http://i.imgur.com/coNAhto.png). Any fixes or will I have to reinstall? I've not seen anyone else on the forums ask this question.

 

Windows 8.1 license transfer from old laptop to new laptop with Windows 10

I wanted to know if there is a way to transfer my windows 8.1 license from my old laptop to my new laptop with Windows 10 which is currently not activated. My Microsoft account is connected on both laptops but the license doesn't transfer and gives a 0xC004F213
error - windows reported that no product key was found on your device. Is there a way to transfer my old license and how?

 

Windows 10 will not activate Error code 0x803F7001

Possibly there can be the problem with Microsoft activation Server, so your Windows 10 is not activated. In this scenario, you need to wait and verify if it is the issue from Microsoft’s side. But if you are getting error code 0x803f7001, you can also try these steps:

1. Open Settings app. Then go to Update and security > Activation screen > Change product.
2. Type your Windows edition product key and click Next.
3. You’ll get We couldn’t activate Windows error message.
4. Retry steps 1-3 then type your 25-characters unique product key.
5. Wait for the process to complete, Windows 10 is activated.
