Windows 10: Error 0x8007000d on Windows Update

I keep receiving Error 0x8007000d when I try to install 2018-08 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1803 for x64-based Systems (KB4343909).


I am also receiving Error 0x800f0900 when Windows is installing 2018-08 Security Update for Adobe Flash Player for Windows 10 Version 1803 for x64-based Systems (KB4343902).


I have tried installing both updates manually, but that hasn't worked either. I ran an sfc/scannow. The scan said it found corruption and directed me to a CBS log. I have no idea where to look on that so now I'm here. Anyone able to assist me?

Error code 0x8007000D - 0x90002

If you receive Windows Update error 0x8007000d, it means that a file needed by Windows Update is damaged or missing. Try one of these methods to resolve the problem.

Method 1: I suggest you to first run Windows update troubleshooter and check if it helps you fix the issue.

  In the search tab type Troubleshooting and hit enter.

  Select System and security.
  
• 
  Click Windows update troubleshooter and follow the onscreen instructions.
  

Method 2: Try the following steps to run
DISM scan to check and restore system file corruption:

• 
  Open command prompt by pressing Windows key + X and selecting “Command prompt admin”.
  
• 
  In command prompt, type the following commands and press Enter after each command:
  
  DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
  

Check to see if the issue is resolved. If not, restart the PC.
