Windows 10: Error 0x80070035 Laptop unable to access MainPC

Hi,

Laptop a couple of months ago could access MainPC and print on MainPC printer on MainPC. However updates...

Currently Explorer on both Laptop and MainPC show Network both Laptop and PC on Right hand of screen, but Laptop cannot access MainPC on double click - Error 0x80070035 Windows cannot access \\MainPC while MainPC can access Laptop.

I have tried all advice I can find on the net - Services, Network settings etc.

Laptop can use either WiFi or LAN - no difference.

Laptop can access MainPC if I enter IP address \c (\\192.168.x.xx\c ) in the search box.

Windows 10-64 home on both with identical account logins.

Any new suggestions please.

Error code 0x80070035


Hi,
I am unable to access one of three computers on my local network via File Explorer
I can access the other two and I can access a network local external drive.
The error is :
error code 0x80070035 the network path was not found
This expands into:
one or more network protocols are missing on this computer
windows sockets registry entries required for netork connectivity are missing
The post from SimBy in Network Protocols says to disable netbios over TCP/IP.

If you are unable to access network drive then I would suggest you to try the steps provided below and see if it helps.
