  3. Issue with saving edited movie in Windows Movie Maker.

    Original Title: Stan R

I made and saved a movie using Windows 8 - Movie Maker version 2012. Then I upgraded to Windows 10 and edited that same movie using same Movie Maker and now cannot save it under a new file name.

All files are good... no red X or checks on videos... everything is ok... But I cannot save movie...

Error 0x871601129 and 139 pop up at about 80% into save every time. Missing files or unusable files prevent saving. try again.

I tried saving at a lower resolution. no go.... tried smaller icons..no go..... I tried saving the movie to a thumb drive with 27,881,848 bytes free and still could not save the movie....

So, windows 10 does not like my file locations or some other problem exists..... I have not got a clue as to what to do.

    Any suggestions.............

    Stan R

Issue with saving edited movie in Windows Movie Maker.

    Geethu B.

I tried to repair in the uninstall/change page..... But Windows 10 is not listing MOVIE MAKER anywhere on the uninstall/Change page.... so I can't get to your next step of repair..............

Guess I will try the Clean Boot suggested below........which sounds scarry.
