Windows 10: Error 0x800700EA while copying music files

While I was copying music files from USB to microSD card, there were several files that made it into error 0x800700EA, which more data is available. I can't continue this, so I skip this file from happening. Is there an easy fix for this error? The USB has FAT32 partition while the microSD card has an exFAT partition.When I tried copying music files on Chromebook, there were no errors.

Cannot copy music files to SD card

Thanks for your suggestions and see below...

Put card into surface and run scan; all ok

Files will not copy to music folder (either mp3 or jpeg or excel) I tried all sorts of files ad none would work

I did copy a music file to "videos" on the card and it copied perfectly (since deleted it)

It seems the "MUSIC" folder on the card is locked to copying when the card is in the phone because I CAN copy music files to it when it is in the surface pro.

Music is default to save to SD card

I cannot see to add music in groove as I already have over 7500 songs on my 200GB card.

Java.nio.file - Copying files

You can't copy a folder, thats why it generates an exception (you are trying to copy a folder using a copy file function).
You probably need to list all the files inside that folder and copy one by one

 

Copying files

As this relates to music file, do you use a music manager? If so check if it has any functions to do what you want.
If not the music manager I use would do what you need without a problem do a search for MediaMonkey I use the Gold Version but the free version should allow you to list all the music files on the USB and you can then select all files right click and select "copy to" and navigate to your required location and all files will be copied for you.

It's late here now but will see what I can put together in step by step with screen shots in the morning here.
