Windows 10: Error 0x8007025d with Windows Update 21H1 x64 KB5015807, SFC and DISM failed

Hello, When doing a system update through Windows Update cumulative for 21H1 x64 KB5015807, I got the error 0x8007025d, roughly from french : "Problems occured during update installation, but we'll try again later". Running the Windows Update troubleshooter did nothing. After searching on the web, I tried to run several commands lines, which also came up with errors : - sfc /scannow stopped at 8% and gave "Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation". So I ran chkdsk /r, and got ask if it should run at next restart. I said yes and restarted my PC for it to actu

Windows Update KB5015807 Fails to Install on one Windows 10 Desktop

I am having an issue with one desktop that fails to install KB5015807 on WIndows 10. I have done the following to try and correct the issue but it still fails.

1. Ran SFC and DISM

2. Stopped all windows update services, deleted the Update download folder

3. Tried to manually install using files from Microsoft Update Catalog

4. Ran the Windows Update Troubleshooter

5. Deleted Temp Files

I've wasted hours trying to resolve this to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Errors in Event Viewer

Package KB5015807 failed to be changed to the Installed state. Status: 0x800f0922. Event ID 3

Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x800F0922: 2022-07 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 21H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5015807).

 

Can't get SFC and DISM to work anymore on Win10

Ok, can someone help me out because this crap is starting to piss me off. There was once a time when you could simply run SFC and DISM to check Windows files integrity and if there were any problems found with the local files, Windows repaired it automatically. The reason why I want to run this is because I'm getting stupendously huge amount of errors and warnings in Event Viewer, but I don't want to run refresh because it'll mess up tons of apps.

Commands I used:
sfc /scannow
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Fast forward few years and we now have glorious Windows 10. Trying to run the same tools, they find errors but stubbornly refuse to fix ANYTHING. What's the god damn point of it then?

Sfc finds issues but can't repair them and DISM constantly bitches how it can't find the source. All this used to work directly in Windows 7, but in Win 10, nothing. This was one of the best features to get OS back in good state and they go and ruin it. Because Microsoft!

Nothing worked. And they keep mentioning install.wim where my Windows image downloaded from Microsoft itself! only carries install.esd which I can't seem to use with anything.

I've also tried this tool:

Which again wants .wim file and refuses to work with esd.
