Windows 10: Error 0x8007045D

I have hit the same issue as reported by several others whilst copying files from one USB drive to another. In this case a USB 3 drive to a USB 2 drive.... I'm freeing up space on one backup drive, by moving lesser accessed files to the slower USB 2 drive.I was using the robocopy tool to do this migration, and it hit one file, upon which it stopped with this error The only solution I could find was to compress and rename the file using 7-zip on the source drive, then it would be copied.So ... why ? Did that work ?There's an option on the Drive as shown under the disk management tool to "Allo

@Ztruker yes i followed all the steps to the letter. i had gotten to step 15 (the installation of windows) where i had gotten error code 0x8007045D (the same error code as before) specifically it appears around 25-40% of the "getting files ready for installation" stage
