    Error 0x80070490


    I received error code 0x80070490 when I am trying to add my Gmail account to my new ASUS Vivobook 17. I have already given approval for email, calendar, and people. I also reset email & calendar. I have also rebooted, and it is still gives me the same error code. I have attempted to type in "CMD" to run a cleanup and restore, but I am either doing it wrong or not working.Is anyone able to assist me with this?Thanks,Kresta

    • Are you still on the process of updating when this error code appears?
    • What is your Windows operating system's current build version?
    • What are the troubleshooting steps you have done so far, besides Windows update troubleshooter?

    Thanks for the fast reply i disabled the AV and the SuS server. I went through the steps of starting and stopping the services and get the same results Error 0x80070490. Let me know if you have any other troubleshooting steps that i can try.

    I am getting this error when trying to update/upgrade machines to the april 1803 version using or sus server. I have tried all the troubleshooting steps that microsoft recommends and keep getting this error when i retry. I have disabled the sus in the registry
    and it still will not go any help is appreciated.
