Windows 10: Error 0x80070643 on reinstallling eduvpn

I've tried to reinstall eduvpn on my computer because the connection was not stable for some reason and reinstalling had worked in the past, how ever this time when I tried reinstalling I got the mentioned error message, below is the log, a quick fix would be highly appreciated[4944:4948][2022-07-18T23:34:24]i001: Burn v3.14.0.5722, Windows v10.0 Build 19044: Service Pack 0, path: C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Temp\{20B54992-57F2-4177-9C2A-993EB8345904}\.cr\eduVPNClient_latest.exe [4944:4948][2022-07-18T23:34:24]i000: Initializing numeric variable 'AddDesktopShortcut' to value '1' [4944:4948][

Hey

Try to apply the update manually As suggested by Microsoft. I just wrote a
step by step guide.

However be sure that the update itself is downloaded and that the installation part is failing, and not the downloading part.

- perhaps Trident z lighting control - unless you have an upgraded version *Wink

A guess might suggest something related to .NET framework. Try repairing it using the repair tool mentioned here:

Note the revert button top right.

- do you mean restoring failed to complete, or that it completed successfully, and you still had the problem?

If the latter, the problem may be unrelated to this debloater script.
