  1. Error 0x800706BE when creating a system image - Win 10 32-bit

    Hi,

I'm trying to create a system image prior to upgrading this oldish laptop from Win 10 32 bit to 64 bit. I ran the create system image tool from Control panel and got the above error with the comment 'The remote procedure call failed'.

Any ideas what caused this and how I might fix it?

    cheers,

    Andy

  2. WIN 10 32 BIT OVERWRITE WITH 64 BIT IMAGE

I have a laptop with a WIN 10, 64 bit system. My desktop has a WIN 10, 32 bit system because I have a lot of legacy software. I would like to switch the systems so that my desktop can use the installed 16gb of RAM.

I plugged the external USB drive containing the image of the laptop's 64 bit system into the desktop and booted the computer to the DVD drive which contained the laptop's 64 bit system repair disk. The boot fails with a message that there is no system disk
    detected.

Thinking that a mismatch had somehow been detected, I removed the c:/ drive and replaced it with a blank formatted SSD. I then got the same message. I tried using three different WIN 10, 64 bit repair disks. Same result.

I can't think of any reason why the computer will not boot to the repair disk.

    Anyone have any thoughts?

How to create a cataog for 32-bit images in 64-bit Windows SIM?

    Hello.

    I have a technician computer with 64-bit Win10 pro.

I installed a Win ADK 10 on this computer.

Now i want to create an answer file from install.wim of Win10 32-bit media.

When i try to load install.wim i get the following message:

Catalog creation failed to complete. This 64-bit version of Windows SIM can only create catalogs for 64-bit Windows images.

    Error 0x800706BE when creating a system image - Win 10 32-bit f35da783-0b50-4192-9ac5-ca77001195b2.jpg

I don't remember that WADK installation process asked me to choose between 32-bit or 64-bit versions to be installed. Looks like 64-bit version was chosen automatically.

What i can do to be able to load a 32-bit install.wim on that particular 64-bit system?

    Thanks.

  4. Error 0x800706BE when creating a system image - Win 10 32-bit

Free upgrade from Win7 32 bit to Win 10 64 bit. Can i then image?

Hi there. We have multiple laptops we are upgrading from Win7 32 bit to Win 10 64 bit. I upgraded from 7 ot 10 32 bit then clean install for 64 bit. I then want to image using Macrium Reflect to save time on setting them all back up.

This all goes ok but then I get a "Windows cant activate right now. Try activating again later. If that doesn't work, contact support. Error code: 0x8024500C"

Windows was activated with a digital entitlement before imaging.

I have been through various solutions people have suggested but to no avail.

    HELP!! Thank you in advance.
