I have a Windows Storage Server 2012 R2 with one SSD drive for the OS and two HDD for data.Booting from the SSD suddenly failed, indicating a kernel error which I was unable to resolve and due to lacking the installation media for Storage Server 2012 I created a new installation of Windows 10 with the intention to access the data drive and copy the files to an external USB drive before scrapping the old hardware. Error: 0x80070780 The file cannot be accessed by the system, zero size on disk

    What is Error 0X80070780

I'm trying to copy quite a few files from one hard drive to another.... neither one is the C Drive .... their both internal secondary drives. I Keep randomly getting " Can't access the files due to Error 0x80070780 " I've tried researching it, and can't seem to get to the bottom of it. Tried checking it for errors via windows built in tool via the Properties. Can't figure out or if its possible to run SFC /Scannow on a disk that's not C Drive. Any suggestions on free software to run to check for any errors?
