Windows 10: Error 0x80090016 when attempting to use anything Microsoft Account related on Windows 10

This started a few months ago now after I changed the password to my Microsoft account, since then I have been unable to use any Microsoft account related features on Windows. I'm repeatedly prompted with "There has been a problem signing into your Microsoft account" but whenever I click the Fix button I'm presented with error 0x80090016, anyone have any idea how I could fix this? I'm running the most recent non-Insider build of Windows already.


This also prevents me from using my newest password on the Login screen so it's a bit of a pain.

Ibtry to type in my code and then says that something went wrong (0x80090016) i cant even get passed sign in page... Tryed f8 and f11 and nothing..
