Windows 10: Error 0x80090027 when trying to update

My laptop started taking 15-20 minutes to open documents, I read that meant I needed an update. Computer said I needed to free up 8 GB. Started off simple, after hours of trying to clear it I ended up deleting everything off my computer. Still said there wasn’t enough disk space. Tried a factory reset, wouldn’t even do that. Get the same error code when trying to add apps back. Won’t install chrome even though S mode is turned off (I wouldn’t worry about it, but I need it or Firefox for a class). I’m at my wits end. Yes, I have restarted it.

Code 0x80090027

I have been trying to make an in app (Hidden Cities) purchase. I keep getting "Something went wrong. Please try again later. 0x80090027. The disk is full."

I first got the error after a recent Windows update.

The disk is not full.

I have tried the Windows Store reset - no change.

I searched for solutions and have found nothing.

Please advise.

Error code 0x80090027 when trying to update account password

I recently had to update my Microsoft Account password. Since then, several apps in Windows 10 ask me to update my password for their access. Every time I try to update my password, I get error 0x80090027 and a message that says, "The disk is full".

My disk is NOT full. My C: has over 60GB free and my SD card has over 50GB free.

EVERY single app that needs my Microsoft Account password is giving me this error. Setup, Mail, Feedback Hub, ALL of them.

What is causing this? How can I fix it??
