Windows 10: Error 0x800f0805 Can anyone help me solve this mega-problem? thanks.

Hello, I've been suffering from Windows 10 update issue Error 0x800f0805 for more than 3 years now. I've contacted the Microsoft team several times to resolve this mega-problem with no avail. Same old routine solutions were applied by all Microsoft team members over and over and the results were a failure! I told them I did these steps many times before and I even told them the procedures and told Microsoft it'll fail again; and it did... The error code is Error 0x800f0805. Therefore, please can anyone from your professionals solve this problem once and for all? Thanks.

I performed a clean boot according to the steps. On this boot I tried,

• Updating through Windows Update (threw error 0x800f0805)
• Updating through Windows 10 Update Assistant as the link suggested (threw error 0x8007001f).

This issue might be caused by corrupted system files. We want to know what happened on the resolution that was provided by
David Haz? Have you tried performing the troubleshooting steps that he suggested? Also, we want to know if you’re still getting the error message 0x800f0805?
