Windows 10: Error: 0x800f081f DISM restore stuck at 62.3%

Hello,I have been having issues with my computer where if I play some games like Overwatch or Valorant my computer will freeze up and not allow me to do anything, forcing me to reset it. This would sometimes happen when I'm on YouTube watching a video, but it is much more consistent with games. What would happen was the game or YouTube would freeze and I would get a static noise in the headset which might be from the audio of the game/YouTube that would freeze and just run on playback. I looked online and found that some issues could be drivers so I made sure all my drivers were up to date. t

How to fix DISM error 0x800F081F

Hi Getting DISM error 0x800F081F in below setup. Setup: 1. Customer’s windows 8.1 all in one PC boots OK, but when logging in you never see any desk screen. 2. Mouse, keyboard and alt ctrl del working fine – task manager works fine and shows 99% idle. No lan connection 3. Booting in safe mode with cmd. 4. Entering “Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:g:\windows /limitaccess”, where G is a mounted USB drev with latest backup. 5. Here I am getting DISM error 0x800F081F. Pls. suggest

Windows version: 21H1 (OS Build 19043.1165)

As usual, I ran ""sfc -scannow" command after this month patch update, that didn't find any integrity violation.

Checking the image health in PowerShell confirms the issue:





Repairing the image with PowerShell also fails:





The system in question boots up and runs just fine, pretty much the same as prior to the patch update. The issue seems very similar, if not the same, to a previous thread in this forum:

Creators update component store shows corruption but unable to repair

It is not clear, if the solutions in that and other old threads are workable on the latest version of W10.

Anyone has a suggestion how to fix this error?

Dism error: 0x800f081f

I used Dism "C:\>dism /image:c:\ /cleanup-image /restorehealth /scratchdir:c:\scratch" to repair a Win10 system in a PE environment, and received an error 0x800f081f, stating that "[t]he source files could not be found".

Any suggestions on what to do next?
