Windows 10: error 0x8024500c after installing latest Cumulative Update for Windows 10

Gentlemen:

I have an issue with installing a current cumulative update for windows 10 from my WSUS server. After i install the SSU and the the cumulative update, i get the 0x8024500c error when trying to check on updates? Any ideas?


Running Windows 10 Version 1607 LTSB

WSUS server is on Server 2016


SSU was KB4565912

Cumulative Update was KB4565511

Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) will not install

Anyone else having problems getting the Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) installed? This update has been failing for me & doing a failed to update after downloading & reboot, then rebooting & removing the update.

V 10.0 build 10240

Maybe try with the Windows update mini-tool, found here http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/t...dows-10-automatic-updates-and-spyware.218745/ , thanks to Mussels. it installed perfectly for me last night.

 

Unable to install Windows Apps - Error 0x8024500C

I used to be able to install apps, but now get an error telling me that something went wrong - error code 0x8024500C.





I have subsequently tried the suggested solutions in detailed at the following link without any success

Looking across forums it seems that many have had this same error with very few having successfully fixed it.
