Windows 10: error 0x80246017 on checking for preview downloads

Discus and support error 0x80246017 on checking for preview downloads in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; using enterprise build 9879 x64 it says new preview available but when attempting to download get this error message.     error 0x80246017 on checking for preview downloads


    using enterprise build 9879 x64
    it says new preview available but when attempting to download get this error message.

    On one forum had read that settings in registry should only show
    \\\windowsselfhost\applicability
    BranchName=fbl_release
    ThresholdRiskLevel=low
    thresholdInternal & ThresholdOptedIn (should not exist)
    on my registry setting the last two do exist and
    branch name is fbl_awesome1501

    Can't open anything with a left click, aloso many other issues on Build 10122

    Right now it is stuck on trying to download 10130

    Any help on getting around this and going straight to 10158
