    Error 0x80300002


    I tried reinstalling Windows because my startup repair failed after a BSOD but this error showed up."We couldn't install Windows in the location you chose. Please check your media drive. Here's more info about what happened: 0x80300002". I have tried a lot of fix, but no luck. I only have 1 HDD and it says unallocated space. Please move this if the section is wrong.


    1. Clean the disk using diskpart - still shows the error

    2. bootrec /fixboot - "Access is denied"

    3. chkdsk - failed because its write protected

    - tried using the "attributes disk readonly clear" but access denied

    how to fix error 0x80300002

    hi charlie,

    actually i have already done that, deleted all available partition during clean install, after clicking "New" tab, then error 0x80300002 appeared and stop there, i cannot install may windows back. is there other way to do it?

    how to fix error 0x80300002

    after installing update for windows 10 and restart my laptop, it went to disk checking error, i thought it was just normal, then i felt worried when it takes almost 5 hours and haven't finished checking yet, so i power off my computer but every time
    i opened it, it goes into disk checking error. i tried to perform the clean install but it wont push through and ended up into 0x80300002 error. pls help me in this issue.
