    ve been having the issues with the game bar saying it's not linked to my account or whatever, so I used Windows Powershell and removed it. I've come to reinstall it, and now there is an error acquiring the license and it can't install it.I used the following to remove it: Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.XboxGamingOverlay Remove-AppxPackage Prior to this I tried all of the following to fix my issue.1. If you are able to open MS Store, open MS Store > Click on your profile picture on top right and sign-out. Then sign-in again. 2. Windows Key+R > Type services.msc and press Enter

    Error code 0x803F8001 on apps and games - Tier 2 or Level 2 Support reset Microsoft Cloud account

    For 10 days I have been trying every fix available to get my Microsoft Mahjong back after getting Error code 0x803F8001. I tried help and support but went around in a big circle to get nowhere then resorted to Google
    where I found a few ideas, none of which worked. Powershell didn't work and terminating the store didn't either. Weirdly a fix I found online where you install Candy Crush or similar worked and the Mahjong came back but overnight my Magic Jigsaw app has
    the same error code and will not reinstall no matter what I try. I get to the bit where it says "acquire licence" and then it comes up with the error. I enjoy my puzzles as it keeps my grey cells moving so would like them back please Microsoft and have it
    on good authority that it is to do with my Cloud Account so please fix it!

    Tier 2 or Level 2 Support reset my Microsoft Cloud account ASAP please!

    Error code 0x803F8001 on apps and games. Ask for level 2 or tier 2 support.

    Open Feedback Hub with in Window 10, explain to them what you have done attempting to resolve this issue. If you are like me, you may have uninstalled the Feedback Hub, and won't be able to reinstall because of the licensing error. If so, then you
    will need to go to a Microsoft Community online and post on the help section, and ask that >>>Tier 2 or Level 2 Support reset you Microsoft Cloud account. <<<< This has happen to me on 2 occasions, and so I have been to this dog and pony show enough to know
    things do not fix themseleves, and a little of how Microsoft's new Cloud works. If you cloud is corrupt, then less than a day when Tier 2 see your post, it will be reset. Sad, they never will take credit or acknowledge it..

    This does get your account straightened out. Make your own post. Do not post it under someone else's post. This is a problem with their cloud services. After asking for tier 2 support they will reset your account on the server. Feedback hub is best.

    Fix: Windows 10 Store Error Code 0x803F8001

    On this full article

    https://appuals.com/windows-10-store-error-code...

    On debate in Microsoft Comunnity:

    I suggest you take the following steps.

    Step 1

    If you have an antivirus installed or more than one, I suggest you uninstall through the Control Panel in the Programs and Features icon or temporarily disable it by the antivirus's own settings.

    Note: Many antivirus have their own removal tool. Visit the installed Software website for more information. Your system will not be unprotected because Windows has its own security system that automatically enables you as soon as you restart your computer.

    Step 2

    Disable all third-party programs, that is, a clean boot, to verify that any of the programs installed on your computer may be causing this behavior.

    For clean boot follow the steps below:

    On the Desktop, simultaneously press the Windows + R keys to open Run;

    In Run type MSCONFIG and click OK to open system configuration;

    On the Services tab, select Hide all Microsoft services and click Turn It All off;

    Click Apply and OK;

    Restart the computer.

    NOTE: This disables all third-party services and programs. You can later, if the issue is resolved in this way, enable the programs and services that will be booted with Windows selectively, rather than keeping everyone disabled. If the problem comes back after
    activating the startup of a specific service or program, the problem is exactly at the startup of this software and it is recommended to remove it.

    Step 3

    Run the command to restart applications in PowerShell by the steps below:

    On the Start screen type PowerShell to open the list of options in Search;

    Right-click on the PowerShell option;

    Click the Run as Administrator option;

    On the PowerShell screen copy and paste the following command:

    ((Get-ChildItem "HKLM:SOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionAppxAppxAllUserStoreInboxApplications") | Get-ItemProperty). Path | Add-AppxPackage -Register -DisableDevelopmentMode

    Step 4

    After performing this procedure, open the Command Prompt and perform the steps below:

    On the Start screen type CMD to open the list of options in Search;

    Right-click on the Command Prompt option;

    Click the Run as Administrator option;

    On the Command Prompt screen type wsreset.exe;

    Restart the Computer.

    Make sure the behavior persists.
