Windows 10: Error 0x87e00017 for Galactic Civilizations III DLC content

Error 0x87e00017 for Galactic Civilizations III DLC content not installed but the game installs fine. I have purchased 2 separate DLC's and they both error out at 100% with error code 0x87e00017. I tried to install another game and it was fine. I am not sure what the issue is. I also was able to install the dlc on my old laptop and had no issues. I am on a surface pro 4 and that is where I am having issues installing the dlc for this game. Any advice as I tried nearly everything that I have seen online with error 0x87e00017.

Civilization Revolution DLC on XBoxOne

I've bought Civilization Revolution on XboxOne, along with much of the DLC. How do I access the DLC? Shouldn't it show up in the scenarios list or something?

Galactic Civilizations 3 Announced!!!

GalCiv, 4X, or Space Strategy fans, Rejoice!!! I literally shouted YES when I saw it. I don't usually do that. even on the GTA V or Skyrim announcement I didn't *Rockout :rockout:

Spore Galactic Adventures Game on Windows 10

This issue might occur if the game is incompatible on Windows 10.

I suggest you to reinstall the Spore Galactic Adventures game in Compatibility mode
and check if it resolves the issue.

A compatibility mode is a software mechanism in which a software either emulates an older version of software in order to allow incompatible software or files to remain compatible with the computer's newer hardware or software. Follow below
steps:

1. Download the setup file of the game and save it on your local disk.

2. Right click on the setup file of the game and select "Properties".

3. Select "Compatibility" Tab.

4. Place a check mark next to "Run this program in Compatibility mode" and select operating system from the

drop down list.

5. Let the game install and then check the functionality.
