    Error 0x87E10BC6 when trying to install an app from the Microsoft Store


    Hello,When trying to install an app from the Microsoft Store Windows 11 I get the following error code: 0x87E10BC6 After searching in the community posts, I could not find any answer that fixed my issue.Then I remembered that, being a developer and working with GDK, I had switched my Windows sandbox.The solution for me was to switch back to the retail sandbox, as documented here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/gaming/gdk/_content/gc/live/test-release/tools/live-pc-sandbox-switcher - i.e. running `XblPCSandbox RETAIL` within a GDK prompt.I am posting the solution in case my futur

    Unable to download apps from Microsoft Store, error code 0x87e10bc6

    When I try to install any app from the Microsoft Store, it just says Error after a short while. When I look at the error details, it just says "Something unexpected happened" with a message to report the problem and error code 0x87e10bc6. I tried a couple
    suggestions to clear the store cache, reset the app, reset some settings on each of the store apps, and then uninstall and reinstall the Windows Store app altogether, and restarted my computer a few times in the process, but I still see the error. How do I
    resolve this issue?
