Windows 10: Error 0xc0000005 When trying to update windows

Please take the time to read through all the solutions ive currently tried i posted any information that may be of use.



I have done research and tried many "solutions" to fix this error but none have worked. im currently on Windows 10 version 1909

Things ive tried

1) ive turned the DEP off for all programs

2) gone into the registry and changed the value of Loadappinit_DLLs from 1 to 0

3) Scanned my computer for viruses,

4) disabled antivirus

5) repaired the registry with CCleaner

6) ran tests on RAM

7) Used Windows update assistant as well as the creation tool

8) updated all drivers

9) Went through multiple commands in CMD in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fsuYizTbJCM

10) tried Sfc /scannow

11) deleting the files in the "softwaredistribution" folder

12) ive used windows update "troubleshoot" option within the settings

At this rate im out of ideas and dont really know where else to turn to except for reddit. Ive read a ton of reddit posts and clicked on every windows link that i could find to try...

I know i could try going to recovery options and updating windows 10 that way but i dont really want to reinstall my programs if i have to I will but im trying to use that as a last resort... So does anyone have any suggestions.

If running your antivirus software to scan for malicious programs does not help, I suggest disabling Data Execution Prevention. It's a built-in feature on Windows for protecting your computer. Some programs may not be compatible with this feature and opening
the app or game will cause 0xc0000005 error.

To disable it, log in using an admin account and follow these steps:

1. Press Windows key + R, type sysdm.cpl and press
   Enter.
2. Click the Advanced tab > Settings button.
3. Click the Data Execution Prevention tab.
4. Select Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select.
   
5. Click Add and open the problematic executable file/game.
6. Click OK.
