    Recently ive been having some programs stop working.


    IE: Battle.net.exe - Bad Image

    C:\\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\msdmo.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support. Error status 0xc0000020


    I have attempted to revert to a previous save, it failed. I attempted to reset to factory settings, it failed. Usually stopping before 40%, then stopping and not deleting or reinstalling anything. It will no longer install Windows updates.


    I am running Windows 10 online upgrade.


    How do i fix this?

    Getting Error code 0xc0000020 bad image error

    Original title: new Windows 10

    I have only installed this a couple of days ago. The first day all was OK but next day I got Bad Image errors because of windows\system32\wininet.ddll with an error status 0xc0000020 This happens with many apps that were in my previous window 7 installation.
    Incredimail, Segate ,utorrent and almost any new application I download cause the same error an fails to install.

    If I don't get a solution soon I will quite windows 10 and revert to windows 7

    I have failed to find a solution so far so I have just joined the Community

    • Since when are you experiencing the issue?
    • Is it still an ongoing issue on your computer?

    Error 0xc0000020 Bad Image

    Bad image error on windows 10

    Since last week, I have started receiving a bad image error on my screen whenever I start up my laptop. The message reads :

    C:WINDOWS\WinSxS\x86_microsoft.vc80.atl_(..........................).DLL is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Error status : 0xc0000020.

    I have tried every thing including an sfc scan but the message keeps popping up twice, every time. Please suggest a solution.
