Windows 10: Error 0xc0000098 can't install windows 10 on new build

I just build my first pc, i'm having trouble installing windows.
i created a usb with the creationtool, but i keep getting the message 0xc0000098 error.
is it not possible to install windows with creationtool

Windows 10 install error 0xc0000098 on new build

Trying to install Windows 10 Home 64bit on a new home built computer (first OS install off of initial bios). Repeatedly getting this error:

File: \windows\system32\drivers\qlfcoei.sys

Status: 0xc0000098

Info: The operating system couldn't be loaded because a critical system driver is missing or contains errors.

Using a ASUS B150M-A motherboard with a i5 processor.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?
