    when i was uninstalling updates because i thought that was the fix to my java installer not working when i was rebooting it decided to stay or i should say softlock on one of the update screens before the percentage showed so i hard reset and decided to reboot in to recovery mode to see if i didnt damage anything. it then showed 0xc0000225 without showing what failed.if you want a cbs logfile ill give it to yaProduct name : HP Laptop 15s-fq2xxxSoftware build ID : 21WW2LNT603#SACJ#DACJMotherboard ID : 87FEBIOS : F.35-04/23/2024Keyboard revision : v57.27Total memory : 8GBProcessor name : 11th

    0xc0000225 boot error

    For some odd reason when I turned on my computer today, I was greeted with the error 0xc0000225 stating that my NLS files were corrupt/missing. I am Running Vista x64 and so far have tried the following:

    Replace NLS files
    Windows repair utility
    Restored an old working registry backup
    Tried booting with different ram configurations
    Created new BCD / Boot
    Chkdsk


    Google suggests something about apci, but my gigabyte ud3p doesn't have such an option (already vista compatible) and it seems to only occur to people who are initially installing and not people who already have a working copy.
