Windows 10: Error 0xc00007b on many apps

Recently, lots of my apps started crashing on startup, showing the error 0xc00007b.

As for what I did to try to solve the issue:

- DirectX: Reinstalled with the complete windows installer
- Vcredist: Redistributables from 2005 to 2019 reinstalled

- Audio and Video Drivers: Updated to the latest version.

- Ran sfc /scannow three times, windows didn't find any problems in any of the scans.

- Clean Boot didn't help the slightest.

- Ran DependencyWalker on one of the programs Borderlands2 and found out that MSVCR100.dll was one of the issues, even though I think it was supposed to be repaired by reinstalling the visual studio redistributables.


Can someone help me with this issue?

Did you read all the reply's from the people that had that error msg?? 70% of them are saying that "fix" did NOT Work ....

There's been a persistent issue that prevents me from successfully launching the game "Men of War: Assault Squad 2." I've contacted the game support, and they very graciously gave me many instructions and recommendations for which course of action I should
take in an effort to resolve the issue, but each was to no avail unfortunately. Additionally, I posted on the Steam forums and one person responded, but his suggestion didn't do anything for me either. After the employee for Customer Support from 1c expended
the list of potential resolutions that they had given to me, the employee referred me to Microsoft, so that's why I'm posting on here. I would like to know if anyone is familiar with the 0xc00007b "the application was unable to start correctly" error, the
causes of it, and/or any potential resolutions that could be applied.
