    Error 0xC004C060 after motherboard replacement


    Hello,After upgrading my PC, including the motherboard, my windows 10 has been "de-activated" and I have been unable to re-activate. Error code 0xC004C060 is generated saying "The activation server determined the specific product key has been blocked"I have tried everything from using cmd and slmgr.vbs commands to uninstall product key, re-arm and reinstall, even doing a new installation of Windows 10. The built in app for activation and troubleshooting yield nothing useful, as they both just give errors. I spent over an hour and a half on the phone with microsoft support, including a remote s

    I just buy new pc and sign in with my microsoft account, but got that error on activation tab: 0xc004c060 - any suggestion how to fix that?

    REplacing motherboard with refurbished motherboard

    Hi Keith,

    to keep license you need to replace motherboard by warranty. Sorry that are the license terms. If this will be warranty replacement please remember technician to do steps necessary for license keeping.

    Error 0xC004C060 after motherboard replacement

    After Changing Motherboards, My Windows 10 Pro Refuses to Activate (0xC004C060)

    I was recently having some troubles with my motherboard and changed it out.

    Troubleshooting gives me this PC but with the old motherboard as the name and does not work when I try to activate it.

    Entering my product key also does nothing and gives me the 0xC004C060 error.

    Is it possible to fix this without having to contact a Microsoft employee through the phone?
