Windows 10: Error 0xc004f050 ; Fake License?

Hi,


I bought a Windows 10 Pro license from a local vendor.

When I try to activate it, I get error 0xc004f050...


I am not sure if the license itself is invalid or if I did something wrong during the installation (I did not do a single installation; I installed it once - not sure if activation was validated since I had no network drivers, then I formatted the disks and installed again, because of some issue)


My questions are:


1) is there any way to determine if the license is fake? apart from the activation failing... because the vendor might be scamming some people (despite apparent good business and reviews)


2) how do I fix this, in case the license isn't fake?

I installed Windows 10 pro x64 build/version 1809 on my machine but have activation issue with error code: 0xC004F050.

we are domain users. when i put my PC to domain did not get license. what is problem?

Hi Eris,

To clarify, I own a brand new laptop with Window 10 Pro. Then I replace my hard disk with SSD and installed with Window 10 Home. Now I was trying to enter my Window 10 Pro license (comes with the laptop), but it turn out to be error 0xC004F050.

I have tried your link, but it doesn't work out.

Window store seems allow me to enter my existing license key to redownload window 10 pro, but it shows my key has some problem, 0xC004F050. Is this because I did not deactivate from previous hard disk?
