Windows 10: Error 0xc0150002 wrong chipset requested.

Many programs across the computer suddenly give error 0xc0150002. Checking the event viewer showed that side by side can't find visual studio 2015 for AMD. That is because I have an Intel chip.


How can I get the programs to request dlls that work on my system?


I suspect that reinstalling them might help, but the computer is also crashing and having some other weird problems so I'd like to get to the root of it.

dbgcore.dll Bad Image (0xc000012f) & Application Error (0xc0150002)


I am encountering this problem on Windows 10 Pro

Errors i am seeing:
- i can't run Outlast, Geometry Dash, Assassin's Creed (even i reinstalled them) [separate errors]
- I am seeing less options [Shut Down & Log off, Task Manager] (on Right-Click Context Menu on Start Button)
- *APPNAME*.exe - Bad Image; C:\Windows\System32\dbgcore.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error...
- *APPNAME*.exe - Application Error; The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0150002)

i unlocked the Adminstrator Account and the Right-Click Context Menu on Start Button has complete options, i didn't damage any system files, i think this error came from one thing that i don't know (a virus maybe?), how will i fix this? thanks for any response.

EDIT: i tried sfc /scannow and DaRT, Reset This PC options but nothing worked (Reset freezes at 8% and fails)

Maybe it's time to step back from the current efforts, and start over. I suggest you read over this excellent tutorial and try all of its steps: [Solved] Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed) for Windows 10 - Driver Easy. The one that may provide you with some easy relief is the one where you uninstall the device whose descriptor is failing, reboot, and see what happens when device enumeration recurs during boot-up. If you're lucky, it will fix itself.

Error 0xc0150002

I have upgraded to Windows 10 almost as soon as it was released this summer and everything was working great.

I use an accounting software called Accountedge 2015 and as of this past Monday it worked great. Now every time I try to open the program I get an error message 0xc0150002 and I have to click the ok button to close it. This started this past Tuesday September
15, 2015.

I have installed every version of C++ I can get my hands on. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program. I have installed the program to different directories. I have tried rebooting after uninstalls and installs and I keep getting this error. I have
rolled back my computer to before this past Tuesday's date. I have spent several hours on the phone with the manufacturer of Accountedge who finally just told me that is a Microsoft problem and good luck.

I am at a loss as to what to do to fix the problem. I am need of help. Thank you in advance!
