Windows 10: Error 0xc1900101 -20017 / Computer running slow

I have PC that can't update to windows 11 Version 22h2 because of error 1900101 - 20017 My C Drive is not anywhere close to full with lots of gigabytes to spare, but my computer is running slow always saying my disk is at 100% on task manager which is the reason I'm trying to update. I'm not tech savvy but I read on here that I should download windows 11 to avoid this. Will that fix the lag issue I'm having as well?

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check.

The error code “C1900101-20017”is known to be faulty drivers. If you receive this error, we recommend you unplug all USB devices (other than your mouse and keyboard) as a troubleshooting step and try the upgrade again.

Windows 10 Upgrade gives error 0xC1900101-0×20017


I have a samsung RV511, i5 processor, 4gb Ram it has windows 7 home premium.

I have been trying for days to upgrade to windows 10. It starts by copying the files and then on the first restart it gets stuck at the windows logo everytime. When i restart the laptop i get the message that the installation failed in the safe_os phase with an error during BOOT operation.

error 0xC1900101-0×20017.

I need your help to successfully upgrade to windows 10 home. I have attached the setuperr.log from C:\$Windows-BT\Sources\Panther\
