Windows 10: Error 0xc1900107 while trying to update Windows

I have an old version of Windows 10, I am trying to update but the update section in settings gives me an error, so I used Microsoft update assistant, when it finished the an error message with the code 0xc1900107 appears. How can I update my Windows now

Hi. I am having trouble with windows popping up that I don't know what to do with. First comes the command prompt, then a white window that says I need security updates. I try to update but it doesn't work. Then comes a second window that says it can't install and gives my this error: 0xc1900107.

Error 0xc1900107 may occur due to system file corruption or components, we suggest that you follow these troubleshooting steps and update it afterwards:

Method 1: Run SFC Scan.

SFC will scan and run an automatic repair to any corrupted system files that it will detect. We suggest that you perform it twice. To run the SFC scan, follow these steps: 

• Type cmd on search, then click Command Prompt.
• Type sfc /scannow and press Enter.

Method 2: Run DISM Tool. 

DISM will restore any Corrupted System Image that causes the issues on your Windows Update.

• Type cmd on search, then click Command Prompt. 
• Type the following command: 

• DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /ScanHealth
• DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /RestoreHealth

Note: This generally takes 15-30 minutes depending on the corruption and size of the partition.

Method 3: Download and run Windows Update Troubleshooter
for Windows 10.

How are you attempting the update/upgrade?
What is your current Windows version?
(Windows key + R, winver)
