Windows 10: Error 10 in device manager, Corsair HS60 USB gaming headset, other USB headsets not detectable

I have tried

1 ) uninstalled the corsair software and uninstalled the drivers

2 ) update new install using a windows cd with the keep files and programs option

3 ) I tried a another USB headset corsair g430 which isn't even detected by device

4 ) What ever is in the imgur

5 ) I have tried the new said with corsair's software. The analogue jacks are picked up by the computer, but my motherboard jack is messed up from a brownout, blackout and it creates a crackle that is intolerable so I need a USB gaming headset

Corsair USB headset not working after Windows 10 upgrade from Windows 8.1

I recently upgraded from Windows 8, and have discovered that my Corsair headset is not working. I have tried many possible solutions, including contacting Corsair Tech Support, but am still without a solution.

This headset is a Corsair Vengeance 2100 wireless headset, connected via USB. I have tried all the USB Ports on my computer, but it is still not detected.

Under “Playback Devices”, it is not listed. Instead in my “Device Manager”, it is listed under “Other Devices”, with a little yellow hazard icon.

I initially thought this was a driver issue, so I went to the Corsair Website and attempted to update the driver. I received a message that Windows “found driver software but encountered an error (Code 28)” for “USB Audio Device”.

I have tried it on my laptop, and my headset worked properly without installing any of the drivers.

I have cleaned my registry, removed and added the headset again, and uninstalled and reinstalled Corsair Software, with no avail.

 

USB headset not detected

I have a Koss CS95-USB headset that work flawlessly with windows 7. After upgrading to windows 10 the headset does not work at all. Windows 10 does not even act as if it detects the device being plugged in. No pop-up saying a new device is detected, no
device in the device manager to even look at. I have looked at all the problem post about USB headset and tried all the solution listed but non of them are useful because they all rely on updating or changing the installed driver and since my device doesn't
even get detected no driver is installed to change.

If anybody has a solution or if someone can give me a USB headset model that definitely works with windows 10 that would be very helpful.

unfortunately I had already tried that. As I said in my first post. I had already looked at all the threads on USB headset problems and tried all the suggestions. But since my headset does not even seem to be detected nothing works.

Any USB headset that is known to be reliable with windows 10 would be a boon if anyone knows of any otherwise I think I am out of luck until Microsoft can address this problem that seems to be a common problem with these devices.
