Windows 10: Error 1719

    Hello - I'm getting Error Message 1719. The windows installer Service could not be accessed. How can I fix this? It appears that this might be causing the "The application failed to start because its side by side configuration is incorrect" message appears when I try to open any installed application?

    Unable to install Tutbo tax error 1719

    I'm having the same error code 1719 when attempting to download and install TurboTax. When I process Krishna's steps the 'Startup type:' is greyed out and set to manual. The Service status is 'Running' and unable to be changed. I continue to be unable
    to install the download from Intuit. Any other suggestions?

    I am getting the following error message when attempting to install updates to TurboTax 2016:

    MSI Install Exception Occurred. Installer service can't be accessed. Microsoft Installer error: 1719, with error code:1719
