    Error 1935, Hresult 0x80070091. How do I install older version of software on Win 11?


    Trying to install two older versions of programs on laptop with Win 11 and get error 1935, Hresult 0x80070091. One code starts 97F81AF1-OE47-DC99 and the other 837BF-1EB-D770-94EB. I do not want to be forced to by new versions of the software, as I am happy with the older versions. How do I install the older versions on Win 11? They worked find on Win 10.

    First of all, Error 1935 usually occurs if the Microsoft .NET Framework components are damaged. You may refer the article on how to troubleshoot this issue and see if that helps.

    To install older versions of software, you can run the installer in Compatibility mode. To do that, Right-click the installer file, select Properties, go to the Compatibility tab, check “Run this program in compatibility mode for”, and select the Windows version for which the software was developed.

    You can also use any Virtual Machine software to install an older version of Windows on your Windows 11, after that you can install the older version of the software you have.
