Windows 10: Error 1962 After Power Outage. M.2 Shows 0.0mb in Windows Install Setup

Need to know if I can fix this problem or, at least, know if it's possible to clone this to another hard drive/recover my stuff from my ssd.My power just flipped as I was on my computer and when I turned it back on it gave me an error 1962 message. I'm using a backup hard drive to get into windows right now on the computer and the m.2 ssd doesn't show in Windows explorer, in disk management it shows but it has an x icon and says unknown. I've tired to see if it'll show up in any data recovery software but it wouldn't. I do have it in the PCIE slot since I don't have any other way to check if i

Partition says 0mb at windows setup

My Brother's computer(ASUS) crashed one day. I decided to create a windows 10 installation media directly from the bios.The screen was stretched out and blurry and the computer ran slow. I have aborted the setup a few times when the screen said "Setup
Starting" taking so long, I didn't have time to see it through, so I aborted the setup. When I finally got some time tonight, I was able to attempt the actual setup. I deleted all partitions as instructed and tried to install on unallocated space. The installation
gave me error, so I decided to shut the computer down and try again, without directly booting from the bios. I was able to get to the proper installation screen without this weird 4:3 to 16:9 formatting and when I got to the partition screen, I saw that it
showed only one partition which showed 0mb. Not 0mb available, 0mb period. What could have happened?

Hi there, I just had a power outage and i'm worried that my windows installation will be damaged. I have an SSD. Should there be any steps I should do now? What should I check?

 

Error 1962

It seems to be a commom error in Lenovo

Try this:

First of all, when you have been faced with Error 1962: No Operating System Found, press and hold the key combination of Ctrl + Alt + Delete. This will reboot your system.

In order to enter the BIOS setup, press the F12 several times in a row.

A little box will appear on your screen and you will see the word Setup written in it. Hit Enter.

At the top of the screen select the Startup tab.

After this, go ahead and select CSM and hit Now select the Enabled option.

Go down a little and locate Boot Priority, after which hit Enter. Now change the current option of Legacy First to UEFI First.

Finally, press the F10 key and choose YES. With this you will have completed the steps to resolving ERROR 1962: No Operating System Found and should no longer be present, when you switch your computer on.

Once you’ve finished with the last step, your computer will reboot and load as usual, hopefully without displaying the above error message.
