Windows 10: Error 401 Unauthorized

On one workstation at my place of business we are unable to access a website we use all the time. I have tried to login using 3 different browsers, Edge, Firefox, and Brave. With all 3 after entering username and password I receive, "ERROR 401 UNAUTHORIZED" in all 3 browsers. I have cleared all cache and cookies in all 3. I have flushed DNS several times. I know the username and password are good because if I go to any other workstation I can login with no problems. Any suggections would be welcome.

Not sure what phone your on but "401" is an Access denied or unauthorized status.

It sounds like the Facebook website doesn't know who you are.

Try deleting the Facebook account on your phone and re-connecting it.

 

anonymous users get a 401 error

My 2012 r2 server returns a 401 error and sometimes a 500 error when accessed by a browser. This occurs with all websites on this server. I have been troubleshooting for days. The permission settings are read, read and execute and list for anonymous users;
the application pool is set the same. the server has all current updates. I have checked all the settings for iis with the other servers that work correctly. the log files show the 401 errors. I have reinstalled windows. I am at a loss.
