Windows 10: Error 5: Access Denied: Setup unable to create the directory

Hello everyone,

Last night, I tried to download a free sketch and animation program . However, I couldn't open the setup. It said "The system cannot find the path specified." Then I tried to copy the setup to (C drive but it said "Setup was unable to create the directory...
Error 5: Access is denied".

I have tried to change security options on "Temp folder/Properties/Security/advanced" by ticked the box of " Replace all child object permission entries with inheritable permission entries from this object."

it also didn't work and nothing has changed. ( it also didn't demonstrate any error or something. it just closed.)

I don't know what is the problem and I cannot understand it this time.

Getting annoyed that I can't install or change things in my C drive anymore since an update or two ago. I am getting the following error when trying to install MS VS Code.

I am the admin and owner of my laptop and have never had this issue before when install applications. My user/admin has full control over the the folders and "Controlled folder access" is turned off in Windows Defender Security Center.

Hi, I'm currently facing the issue as tittle. When I tried to uninstall a program, it prompted unable to create temporary files. setup aborted. Error 5: Access is denied.

I did a virus scanned and result come back is all good. Tried to run as administrator and same issue.

How to solve this?
