Windows 10: Error 80090016

I have attempted deleting two files that recreate themselves when I log back in and it has not solved this error. I cannot add my school account to any Microsoft app. I have that account working perfectly fine on two other computers.

I have no issues logging into my Surface; however, Office 365 and OneDrive will not log into account. I use my username and PW and when I click continue I get the error code 80090016.

I tried to use the Virtual Assistant to reach a human being. I have to login to access a support person, and when I enter my username it says it does not exist, so the Virtual Assistant suggests to create a new account. When I try and create a new account
with my actual username I get an error that the username is already in use.

How to I solve error code 80090016 and why is it so hard to talk to a support person at Microsoft?

Hi,

On 21 June my HP desktop suggested a version 10 upgrade. Since downloading it I am getting an Error code 80090016. Can anyone please help?

Trusted platform module malfunctioned. Error code 80090016

Hi

My work laptop had a problem with the keypad and our ICT staff then replaced the laptop with another, installing only my hard drive into the replacement laptop. Since, when trying to use Windows 10 Mail, I get the following error:

"Your computer's trusted platform module has malfunctioned. Error Code 80090016"

How can I correct this problem?
