Windows 10: Error after switching Microsoft accounts

After switching my Microsoft account on my desktop, I get this error message while trying to sign into my account Correlation Id: 8830516e-e7ff-4668-b1d4-0b81b663cd89 Timestamp: 2024-04-17T16:03:54.000Z DPTI: 077e31c41959eea90cb5f5a2686ce1f02bd914aa74c70446b245f6321bb63d66 Error Tag: 7q6ca Error Code: 2147483661Any advice on how to solve?

Change Microsoft Account Details in Administrator Account

It's quite easy in fact, simply switch the account in question first to a local account, then switch back to a Microsoft account, this time using your wife's MS account credentials.

Notice that before doing this you need to remove the new additional MS account on the PC, the one you created with her credentials. Windows allows only one user account for each email address, if the new account exists you cannot switch the original administrator account to an MS account using the same email address. Switching to a local account - error: 0x80004005

Error 0x80004005 is an unspecified error that normally occurs seen when the user cannot access Shared Folders, Drives, and also when Windows Updates fails to install. With this in mind, we would like to know more details:

Meanwhile you may try the following steps to switch to a local account:

• Click on the Windows Logo Start.
• Click on the Settings Gear icon.

• Select Activation.
• Click Add a Microsoft Account.
• Sign-in with your Microsoft Account.

Now, try to switch to a local account.

Trying to switch to Microsoft account from local, unable to...

I tried that, more than once. I go thru the complete procedure of getting a new Microsoft account password, then when I reach the final step to key in the Windows password, I try my NEW Microsoft account password, and I get the same message-invalid password. No luck. Any other suggestions.
