    Error Attempting to Run Baulders Gate 3 and .Net is giving me the same error no matter what...


    I have looked up countless ways to make .Net Windows Desktop Runtime to work, none of them have worked for me. I just got this new computer and cannot for the life of me figure out a way for .Net to actually just download.     First run Windows updates...after there are no more important installs then try .net framework.*Toast :toast:

    I formatted my CP yesterday.
    When I attempt to DL .Net Framework I keep getting error at set up.
    I either get "Need to trun windoqs features on or off" which I've tried both settings.
    or this.

    I'm running win 7 64
    ASUS P5G41-M-LE
    Intel core2 duo E7500.
    I've tried Reformatting today just because I'm out of ideas.
    nyway I've tried I get set up error.
    Any ideas? Thanks

    OK, the Windows 10 Feature installation method should have been straightforward, but since that errored out as well, something else seems to be going on with your Windows, so wait for somebody with more experience to suggest a way out.

    In the mean time, if you haven't already, you could give muchomurka's suggestion a go as well with the elevated prompt and an install media to see if it works. The following link shows the detailed steps involved.
