Windows 10: Error code 0x80004005 on gamepass for pc.

I can launch some game like sea of thieves but not persona 5 or total war three kingdom, they just give me an error code. I uninstalled three kingdoms and it give me the same error code when trying to reinstall. I did a few things like update windows, something in power shell with restarting windows store I believe, making sure my time was correct and synced up. I just don't know how to fix this.

I have the exact same issue with FM2021 refusing to log me in ... 0x80004005 something went wrong .... have also done all the steps suggested above, no dice.

really poor from MS, several similar problems this past year. Game Pass on PC is potentially amazing but constantly let down by this sort of thing.
Be grateful to know if anyone finds a solution.

Tempted to Reset via Windows Apps setting, but worried about losing savegame (cant remember if I saved to the cloud) - anyone tried that, and/or know how to back up savegame?

I have similar situation - but only with football manager 2021 - 0x80004005. Tried steps from 1 to 3. Other games looged in but fm still not. Problem maybe connected with windows updates...
