Windows 10: Error code 0x80004005

Hi, I was trying to transfer files from a game called Escape From Tarkov, Trying to run a single player server through my pc using live files, When copying and pasting the files from the zipped folder it gave me an error message telling me that certain items could not be transferred to the folder, but some items still transferredthe actual file, not the executable like the servers or the .json's in which the single player server would run. I'm not too geeky so I don't know my way through this. Trying to do something like this but when transferring file it would bring up the message-https

Error 0x80004005

I have looked over many other posts about this, all with the same error code, but with a different problem.

I have a computer thats a few years old, it has an ABIT kn8-sli motherboard, and its running off windows XP.

I was having problem with the hard drive before I gave up on it awhile back, and now I have come back and resolved that problem, but now when I get to the login screen and type in the password it says its in need of an update, then when it asks me if I want to update I click Yes, and then it says it won't work due to error 0x80004005.

The only operating system I have currently is windows 7. Do I need to go buy a new OS or is this recoverable?

 

Creators update - error 0x80004005

The 0x80004005 error code is listed within Windows as "Unspecified".. meaning a "catch-all prevent a melt-down" type thing... A clean install from a USB/DVD boot should overcome that... obviously backup first.
